Peace Essay

Christianity and Islam have comparative lessons on harmony and it is clear that there is a solid connection between these principal lessons and the manners by which the strict customs and their associations effectively endeavor towards world harmony. World harmony is comprehended in the two religions, not similarly as a nonappearance of brutality and strife, yet additionally as a general feeling of prosperity and social attachment. Inward harmony is basic in accomplishing world harmony, and must be achieved so as to move in the direction of harmony at a more elevated level. Christianity encourages that harmony is Christ’s separating blessing and an idea that starts with Him, â€Å"Peace I leave with you; My tranquility I give you† (John 14:27). The Catholic harmony development â€Å"Pax Christi† represents the ‘peace of Christ’ and has propelled an approach for a culture of harmony and peacefulness. â€Å"Pax Christi† utilizes the instructing of the tranquility of Christ to direct them, calling disciples to express that they are perceiving their duty to â€Å"respect life†¦practice dynamic peacefulness [and] shield freedom† (Pax Christi International Manifesto for a Culture of Peace and Non Violence 1999) so as to add to the accomplishment of world harmony. Islam instructs that harmony must be achieved through the accommodation to Allah’s will. One can submit to Allah through the procedure of jihad, which is to battle to conquer the snags in the method for accommodation, or the procedure of Shahada. The Sufism development gives Muslims a way to follow so as to add to the achievement of world harmony through 3 stations. These mirror the instructing that harmony must be found in Allah, empowering the accommodation as the underlying advance in moving towards world harmony, â€Å"Submitting our†¦bodies to Allah is Sufism† (Sufism Equals to Islam). The educating of accommodation and expectation of satisfying Him, builds up a Muslims job in effectively moving in the direction of accomplishing world harmony. The Quakers are a Christian section that follows the chief educating of pacifism, as displayed by Jesus’ service. Christ’s instructing of the Beatitudes is key in directing the Quakers, particularly in â€Å"Blessed are the peacemakers† (Matthew 5:9). The Quakers move in the direction of world harmony through things, for example, rallies and walks for harmony and equity, just as crusading and bringing issues to light about social equity and supporting those searching for an option in contrast to savagery. The Quaker’s decision to abstain from war to add to world harmony can be seen by their quiet vigils against war, for example, that in King George Square. In 1660, the Quakers introduced â€Å"A Declaration from the Harmless and Innocent†¦Quakers†, which has been the reason for the Quaker’s harmony declaration in which they endeavor towards achieving world harmony. Rufus Jones, a Quaker, expressed that Quakers have a â€Å"obligation to help and to progressions ahead and powers which make for harmony in the world† (The Quaker Peace Position). Harmony is a central point of Islam and encourages that war is just allowed to beat abuse and oppression. The Qur’an instructs that â€Å"whosoever murdered a soul†¦it is as though he had executed all mankinds† (Al-Madiah 5:32). In any case, this is neglected because of regular misguided judgments about the Islamic confidence, particularly because of abuse by the media. After the vicious result of the London bombings in 2005, the NSW Islamic Council expressed on their site, â€Å"We immovably hold the view that these killings and outrages have positively no authorization in Islam†¦terrorism†¦has no help from†¦the Islamic community†¦and could never be endorsed†. Associations exist between Muslim, Jewish and Christian associations with the goal that their voices aren’t ignored, for instance the 1991 ‘Prayer for Peace’ in which it was asked, â€Å"Forgive our brutality towards each other†. Despite the fact that disregarded by the media, Muslims work resolutely towards world harmony. Christianity communicates that equity must precede harmony is accomplished. In 1972, in the World Day of Peace Message, the Catholic Pope Paul VI stated, â€Å"If you need harmony, represent Justice†. Likewise, the Decade to Overcome Violence (DOV), look for harmony, equity and compromise. In a report titled, â€Å"Called Together to be Peacemakers†, Catholics and Mennonites planned to cooperate to help the WCC’s DOV, expressing, â€Å"Our comparative ways of life as ‘peace churches’†¦our promise to be followers†¦of Jesus Christ†¦Prince of Peace. † They quote John Paul II in the World Day of Peace (2002), â€Å"no harmony without justice†, including, â€Å"in the nonappearance of justice†¦peace is a mirage†¦justice is an indistinguishable friend of peace† (CTBP 177). It is obvious, the connection between the regulation of equity before harmony, and afterward the activities to chieve this to endeavor towards world harmony. The Qur’an instructs that, â€Å"Allah guides those†¦to the methods for peace†¦and guides them to a straight path† (5:16), regularly named ‘the ways of peace’. This instructing of being guided on a way of harmony is shown by the association Mu slim Peace Fellowship, announcing on their site that their principle goals are to â€Å"work together with all individuals of positive attitude to keep open the straight path† and to â€Å"work against treachery and for peace†¦in our world† (Muslim Peace Fellowship Blog). This association effectively look for world harmony using gatherings, distributions, addresses and interreligious activity, just as inside work and petition. The main reason for this type of policing was to control the slave populations that outnumbered the white population. Throughout the years the police force evolved and the New Orleans Police Department was created in 1852. This allowed for a consolidation of independent police jurisdiction and was apart of a reform of all city government levels. To create an atmosphere of internal honesty a hierarchy was put in place to hold employees accountable and to crack down on local offenders of the law. This organizational structure added to the control of employees and held the hierarchy accountable. With the control, clear policy and procedures and consistency in organizing rules it helped the police department to fashion a bureaucracy in action. This cost a bigRead MoreEssay on Colonists Identity590 Words   |  3 Pages The colonies had developed a strong sense of their identity and unity as Americans by the eve of the Revolution. The question is not if the colonists had a lack of liberties, but the fact that the government, over 3000 miles away, were controlling some of the most important freedoms they came to cherish. Cloud Computing for Internet Services- myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about theCloud Computing for Internet Services and Applications. Answer: The various risks that are evident due to the migration of the database, IaaS infrastructure and the communication of the company are discussed in this portion. Risks in database: The various cloud related risks that are evident due to the migration of the database is discussed in this portion. In case of cloud feature installations, the various applications installed in the system will need to be installed in the cloud architecture. In some cases, these applications may show license problems. In cases like this, the business operations will be affected due to the license risks. In addition, as the cloud features are being provided by the cloud vendors, the organization needs to comply with their requirements (Garrison, Kim Wakefield, 2012). Any changes to the system are to be done after contacting with these vendors. This reduces the transparency of the system with respect to the organization involved. Risks in IaaS infrastructure: The main risks to the IaaS infrastructures due to the migration of the database are discussed in this section. The main risks are the misconfiguration, shadow-IT and vulnerabilities. The first risk to be discussed is the misconfiguration in the infrastructure. The presence of existing problems in the system is to be referenced to fight these vulnerabilities. For addressing such requirements, the scanning of the whole system is to be referenced. This includes the scan of the whole system by using the IaaS APIs. These are used to scan the whole database. These data are used to compare with the existing templates of the API scanning (Garrison, Kim Wakefield, 2012). These templates are complied with the universal standards. The data are then to be applied for addressing the risks in the infrastructure. In addition, the presence of monitoring features to scan the status of the system is also to be done for detecting any errors present in the system. Vulnerability is another risk that is present in the infrastructure. This is to be addressed by not only the vendors of the cloud solutions but also the organization. The main process to be involved is the installation of applications for automated scanning procedures and workload security management. The last risk in the infrastructure is the presence of shadow-IT features (Jadeja Modi, 2012). This mainly consists of ghost servers, dormant storages and orphan storage. The ghost server generally means the presence of servers which can still perform efficiently. However, these servers are unused for a long time. Similarly, the orphan servers are the presence of those servers that are also not used for a long time and are not in good conditions with respect to operations. Moreover, when servers are replaced by the new ones, they remain in the infrastructures. These are the dormant resources. All these poses great risks to the organizations as these storages still consist of data. These can be used to get access to these data unethically. Risks in communication between the organization and database: The main risks in the communications among the organization and the cloud vendor are the concerns in privacy and availability of data. As the organization needs to update the vendor regarding any organizational changes, the vendor will have access to all the data of the organization. This raises a security and privacy concern as the organization concerned may not have ease of mind in doing businesses (Hashizume et al., 2013). This also provides an ethical risks if the cloud vendor unethically analyses their data. The presence of internet access is a requirement in cloud architecture. As the information to be updated in the cloud infrastructure can only be done by the presence of internet, the risks due to such requirements is great. In case an organization is facing threats in the system, they need to close the cloud application to mitigate the threats. In case of internet absence, the organization will not be able to access the system which will lead to grave impacts in the system. This section is concerned with the application of the access protection features in different parameters of the cloud solutions. IaaS infrastructure: The access to the IaaS infrastructure can only be provided by utilizing the four different parameters. These include the internet access, physical access, APIs and web console. The physical access is provided by the cloud vendors. The organization needs to review the security features and protocols followed by the cloud vendors. Any problems in their security can lead to the business failure as well (Jadeja Modi, 2012). Internet access can be secured by the application of various cloud related solutions. These include the applications of tighter security measures. The most commercially available solutions are the one provided by Cloud Sigma. The main aim of these solutions is the implementation of firewall setups that could be used for neglecting access by third-parties. In case of the APIs and web-console, tighter security can be applied by the adoption of security protocols. Ms SQL Server 2012 R2 cloud instance: The presence of user privileged access to the instance of the server is to be emphasized for the IaaS cloud consumers corporate network. This can be done by the application of access protocols like SSHv2 or TLS/SSL. The main emphasis of these uses will be based on the use of multi-factor authentication. In addition, the use of public key certificate is also to be emphasized for addressing these requirements. Cloud infrastructure: The access to the cloud infrastructure by using the browser is to be minimized. The main reason is that they are prone to injection attacks. In addition, the presence of security tools is also needed in the VMs to reduce the possibilities of back door intrusion and information leak (Jadeja Modi, 2012). Furthermore, the antivirus programs must also be used for removing the malwares from the system. Cloud backup and restore: The organization needs to review the security features and protocols followed by the cloud vendors. Any problems in their security can lead to the business failure as well. This requires the need for encrypting the data to be backed up (Khan et al., 2013). In such cases the data will not be easily accessed. Furthermore, the presence of offline storage of the decrypting key is also required. References: Garrison, G., Kim, S., Wakefield, R. L. (2012).
